As part of our RWC topic and weight topic in maths, at the end of term four, my year 2 class and I designed and baked some kiwiana cookies. Going through the design process, we were able to create some yummy and tasty cookies as a special treat! Here's how it went:

Today has been the first workshop in a series of Otago University e-learning workshops by Andrea Robertson. We got the chance to play with interactive whiteboards, and be introduced to the various ways they can be used in the classroom as well as learn about using the numerous programmes that can be utilised on the interactive whiteboards. I would feel very priviledged if the classroom I may be teaching in next year had one of these.
